The perfect Thanksgiving Sticky Ginger Beer Glaze

The delicious combination of Bundaberg Ginger Beer, lime and turkey makes for one extra special Thanksgiving celebration.

A gently spiced, sweet glaze that will delight your guests when paired with our Sweet Potato & Ginger Beer Casserole and your favorite trimmings. This simple glaze is an absolute game changer when generously slathered on baked or grilled turkey or chicken.

Ingredients

  • 17 fl. oz Bundaberg Ginger Beer
  • 5.3 fl. oz tomato ketchup
  • 2.5 fl. oz gluten free soy sauce
  • 2.5 fl. oz maple syrup
  • Juice of 2 limes

Method

Pour all ingredients into a saucepan and boil until thick and sticky, approximately 30 minutes. Transfer to airtight container for storage. Can be made and stored in refrigerator for up to 2 days before use.

Cook turkey or chicken as per standard directions and generously brush glaze onto meat from time to time (3-4 times) while baking or grilling.

Serve with optional lime wedges at a party or gathering.
