Where did the name Bundaberg come from?

The name of our delicious soda stems from the small town that shares the same name – Bundaberg, in Queensland, Australia. While it sounds like it might stem from German origin, it actually has Aboriginal heritage, and if you’re a local, you’d just call it ‘Bundy’.

Bundaberg Brewed Drinks has been proudly family owned and operated since the 1960s by the Fleming Family.

If you’re ever lucky enough to visit this beautiful coastal town, be sure to drop by The Barrel and sample some of the 14 flavors we have on offer.
