Ingredients

  • 1oz whisky (light peated scotch or a smoky blend is recommended)
  • 0.5oz low sugar maple syrup
  • Bundaberg Diet Ginger Beer
  • 2 dashes smoked bitters (optional)
  • 1 fresh sage leaf
  • sage sprig and orange peel twist (garnish)

Let's Mix!

  • Combine

    Step 1

    Add the sage leaf and low sugar maple syrup to a mixing glass. Lightly muddle to release the aroma of the sage. Follow by adding the whisky and smoked bitters before stirring to combine. 

  • Pour

    Step 2

    Fill a lowball glass with a large ice cube with straining the mixture from mixing glass over the ice.

  • Enjoy

    Step 3

    Fill lowball glass with Diet Ginger Beer before garnishing with fresh sage and an orange peel twist. Enjoy!
