Homemade Root Beer BBQ Sauce Recipe

One of our favorite things to do during summer is to get outdoors and fire up our grill for a good old fashioned barbeque. Just the thought of ribs, chicken wings and burgers is enough to get our mouths watering. But what’s even better, is the thought of topping it all off with a scrumptious, homemade BBQ sauce.

Using sodas in sauces may not be groundbreaking – but once you glaze your BBQ treats in Root Beer that hails all the way from Bundaberg in Australia, we guarantee your guests will be impressed. Made from a family recipe using sarsaparilla root, licorice root, vanilla beans and molasses, our Root Beer has a rich and unique flavor that just isn’t like any traditional Root Beer. Try something a little different using our homemade Root Beer BBQ sauce recipe that’s perfect for dipping, glazing and dousing all things barbecue.

  3. Use as a basting sauce or directly as a dipping sauce.
