What is a Dekopon?

Dekopon mandarins sit at the top of the citrus family tree and are also known as ‘Sumo Citrus’ in some markets. The name ‘Dekopon’ originates from Japan and China, where the fruit was first developed and celebrated for its exceptional sweetness and signature flavour.

While still an emerging flavour across Australia and New Zealand, Dekopon has global appeal, and in noting that, we saw an opportunity to introduce something truly special to local shelves.

Like all of our Bundaberg brews, Dekopon Mandarin is made with care and patience. It’s craft brewed over 4 days to allow the flavour to naturally develop, with no artificial colours or flavours added. The result is a refreshing, full bodied citrus brew that tastes as good as it looks.
